The main activities fallen under the Directorate: ensuring coordination and training in collaboration with other agencies and with international cooperation with authorities of other ministries, with the Ministry of Agriculture in setting goals, formulating strategy and communication of policies and programs, particularly in the area of agriculture and rural development, support to policy development, particularly in rural areas, and coordinate their regulatory and national planning to ensure coordination with the competent authorities, including development policies and other policies for rural development, support, coordination and participation in monitoring and evaluation of programs, interventions and policy measures for agriculture and rural development.
