State Fund Agriculture approved 67 projects under measures 313: Encouragement of tourism activities, 321: Basic services for the economy and rural population and 322: Village renewal and development. The municipalities will invest in the reconstruction of road networks, community centers and churches as well as building sports facilities, eco roads and bicycle lanes. The total amount of approved funding is 100 078 660 BGN (€ 51 191 130).

Twenty six of the projects will receive 86 668 450 BGN under measure 321. Many of the beneficiaries will invest in sports facilities. The municipalities of Gulyanci and Cheroochene will reconstruct and modernise a sports complex. The municipality of Pavlikeni will use the funding to construct a swimming pool, outdoor fitness facilities, children’s playgrounds, and transform a cabin into a sports dorm room. The municipality of Tvardica will build four complexes for football, athletics, karting and motor sports. There will be a mini-football complex in the village of Venelin – Varna district. A nursing home will be constructed in Knezha and a photovoltaic station will be built in Brezovo. There is also a big number of proposals for the reconstruction of community centres and the restoration of road networks.

Over 3.6 million BGN will go to 5 projects under measure 322. Two of them involve the renovation of churches – in Yankovo and Smyadovo.

There are 36 approved investment proposals under measure 313 totaling 9 760 918 BGN. The subsidy will be used for the construction of tourist infrastructure, recreation and information centres, bicycle lanes, an eco park and others.
