Organic Agriculture Foundation BIOSELENA
Organic Agriculture Foundation BIOSELENA is a non-profit organisa- tion. The foundation was established in 1997 for the purpose of devel- opment and promotion of organic and sustainable agriculture, as well as of biodiversity and environmental protection.
It's a member of the International Federation of Organic Farming Movements.
BIOSELENA is active in the area of organic agriculture, lobbies for it and promotes it as an eco-friendly and biodiversity-friendly farming method that produces healthy and high-quality foods.
BIOSELENA is also a member of BIOPRODUCT BG - a non-profit association established in 2004 for the purpose of uniting organic a farming units in the country and marketing their produce. The organi- sation is a founder and share holder of Balkan Biosert Ltd. - a body concerned with control and certification of organic farmers, organic produce processors and organic produce traders.
